House of Slaves (Door of No Return)

A former slave-holding house on Gorée Island off Dakar, Senegal, whose 'Door of No Return' is one of the Atlantic slave trade's most visited memorial sites. Ghana's Cape Coast Castle and Elmina Castle are comparably significant sites from the same trade, not yet added here.
